At Customer Faithful, we are committed to protecting your privacy, and have recently updated our policies and procedures, in line with new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
How We Collect Your Information
We collect information from individuals when they participate in our research studies, such as focus groups and interviews. We also contract with 3rd party marketing companies to identify and screen potential participants. We use social media listening software to identify content that has been published and made freely available by people using social media channels, such as Twitter and Youtube. When you visit our website, our web server automatically logs your domain and notes what pages you view. For those that signup through our Newsletter signup form, the only personal identifying information we collect from you is what you provide on a voluntary basis, by opting in.
What We Do With it
We use your information in research projects to explore the experiences of different aspects of life, such as managing your health, travelling, shopping and leisure activities. All our research findings are fully anonymised before being passed to our clients. For those taking part in our healthcare projects, you will be required to sign a consent form, which details specific safety reporting we are required to do, as part of industry codes of conduct.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Ever. No exceptions.
Your information is stored on encrypted online servers, and is deleted within 12 months of the completion of the research study it relates to.
Whom We Share Your Data With
We share your data with selected business partners, which may include:
- Cloud Providers such as Dropbox that help us store your data securely
- Analytics companies that help us analyse trends in data
- Pharmaceutical companies – only in relation to side-effects (known as adverse events) that you have reported, and when you have signed a consent form in advance to allow this to happen
